It is my great pleasure to see you visiting our website, in which we share our vision and
details about FlexiScore. Here, I wanted to take a moment to say Thank You to my good
friends, who were my inspiration in creating FlexiScore.
My friends from Nantucket Island
Eugenie. FlexiScore was invented in 2008 on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. To me it
all started in pursuit of improving my friend Eugenie's condition after her hipsurgery.
Stretching exercises and the sit and reach test helped immensely with recovery. I was
looking for a way to track her improvement, so we could see the progress. You might find it
entertaining to know that in a moment of revelation, I first drew FlexiScore flexibility
measuring scale with a permanent black marker in Eugenie's house on her pickled antique
wood floors! I would never do that again, but my tracker really worked! It immediately
proved to be an amazing tool to measure flexibility progress with zero difficulty.
My modest invention fueled Eugenie passion to train harder, inspired her to stretch and
eventually reach farther! To better track her achievement, I calibrated and adjusted my
measurements. I came up with a system, with a score, and FlexiScore was born.
Designing Training Mat
Elaine. I wanted to take a moment to express my special Thank You to my mentor Elaine,
who proudly calls me her son #2. Elaine's guidance, life lessons and support push me
through hard processes of going from idea to reality. I am very grateful.
I spent months "polishing" FlexiScore training mat. I wanted it to be simple to use, all-in-one
tool to measure body flexibility score. I also wanted it to be easily accessible everywhere,
portable and inexpensive gadget to accurately complete body flexibility testing lightning
fast!
FlexiScore mat is a yoga/exercise type of mat that illustrates progress in clear numbers. No
tape measures or yardsticks, no more marking the floor, no sit and reach test boxes! Just
sit on your mat, reach forward and watch your body improve!
